You Choose”, the CSOs that carry the initiative, through a series of public and media activities, will make an effort to bring the European Union and its policies closer to the citizens and to answer numerous questions about future actions that Macedonia needs to take on the road to EU and NATO, as well as the benefits that the Euro-Atlantic integration will bring to the country...

The civic initiative “Take a Step Forware” launches an information campaign which will offer the citizens, over the period of the next three weeks, a much improved access to relevant information on benefits and challenges that the integration into the European Union and NATO bring to the table.

The national campaign will include various audio-visual material (promotional video, animations, photographic facts, etc.) to be published by television and radion stations, on the social networks, and will also be posted on a number of billboards. At the same time, the campaign will organize a series of media and public debates and discussions, public meetings with citizens, book promotions, etc.

The campaign will publish two issues of the publication “EUreka”, which will be distributed free of charge to locations with greatest frequency of citizens all over the country. The editorial office is composed of prominent journalists (Saso Kokalanov, Ida Protuger, Srekjko Popovski, Vladimir Mirceski, Goran Naumovski and Jovan Postoloski). The first issue of “EUreka”was published today, and the second issue will be published sometime after September 22, 2018. The publication will have a Macedonian and Albanian language versions, and will be printed in total circulation of 55,000 copies. The initiative is implemented by the Foundation Open Society Macedonia, The Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in RM, EuroThink – Centre for European Strategies, NGO Infocentre, Youth Education Forum, Civil – Centre for Freedom, ESSE – Association for Emancipation, Solidarity and Equality of Women, the Rural Coalition, HERA and the Centre of Modern Arts.
