Vaccines’ Journey to North Macedonia

Fully vaccinated are 25.2% of the population
• 25.2% of the population are fully vaccinated (521.784 citizens).
• 34.5% of the population received one dose of vaccine (712.338 citizens).
• In the last seven days, the percentage of the population with one dose increased by 3%, and the percentage of the fully vaccinated population increased by 1.2%.
• 51% of the population over the age of 40 is vaccinated with one dose of the vaccine.
• 26% of the adult population under 39 years of age received at least one dose.
• 13.300 Macedonian citizens have been vaccinated in Vranje, Serbia.
• 17% of newly infected people with coronavirus are fully vaccinated.
• 11% of those hospitalized and 10% of deceased from Covid-19 were vaccinated.
• So far, 1.719.460 doses of vaccine arrived in the country.
• The government’s media campaign: Get vaccinated continues and is targeting primarily young people.
