Norges Vel together with the Red Cross volunteers and young athletes from Kriva Palanka, on December 18, 2020, on the pedestrian-recreational pathway Stara Vada in Kriva Palanka, conducted a civic environmental action “Plastic no – pathway yes”.
“Having in mind the efforts made to beautify our city and to have places where we can enjoy the beautiful nature, more recreational paths have been made in the city. Those paths are for everyone, but not for the irresponsible people who pollute the environment while walking on the paths and leave their garbage behind, without thinking about the damage they cause to the nature. That is why through a creative approach we organized this action to raise the awareness of all when it comes to preserving what has been done for the good of the city and for us as conscientious citizens”,said Daniela Anastasovska from Norges Vel.
The action was organized in cooperation with the NGO Info-center, Municipality of Kriva Palanka, the Red Cross and the karate club Champion, within the auspices of the project “Active citizens and participatory democracy on local level”, supported by International Center Olof Palme from Sweden.
